Franca Neuburg is a professional illustrator and visual artist. She studied graphic design with a focus on book art and illustration at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster. Her work sits at the intersection of design, art and illustration. It extends over two, three and four dimensions, using a variety of materials and methods, and always has a playful approach. This applies to her freelance works and her design objects as well as for her commissioned work, among others for Verlag Hermann Schmidt, Bertelsmann, Gruner + Jahr or the DAAD. Her work has been exhibited twice at ILLU Cologne and published in numerous magazines and blogs.
Franca has taught design at the Ruhrakademie Schwerte and currently teaches and works at Studioki, an art space she co-founded in 2018. She lives with her family in Cologne.
